Congratulations for realizing you've made mistakes and need to correct them.
Obviously you need to study more, and you need to establish better relationships with all your teachers. If you need tutoring in a specific subject, get it.
You need to have a solid 3.0 next year and never let it drop back again. I think all but about 50 highly exclusive colleges (and Chicago may be among them) would forgive a bad freshman year if you have a radical change thereafter and keep it up.
Stick with the wrestling if you have talent, because that will help you get into a better school than you would have been able to get into otherwise.
If you're serious, then Friday and Saturday nights can be LIGHT party time for you. But from Sunday through Thursday you get only about an hour of free time a day between classes, athletic practice, studying and sleep.
It's your call. You've got time.

There's hope, but stop slacking off. Join clubs, compete in science fair or something...do sports. Play up your special talents and get those grades up!

There is always hope. Maintain a near 4.00 next years and you can do it... Although I doubt it after the first year you are capable of doing such a feat... Please, prove me wrong!!!

You probably aren't going to any top tier school at this point.

Don't believe the hype. Those schools aren't that great.

I went to one of the aforementioned.

Yes, but you've got to get into gear.
