I am looking to try to have my poetry published or to self publish. Just looking for some exposure, not looking to get paid, if I do, well that is a bonus! All the sites I have found, require me to pay. I do not have alot of money, Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get published, free magazines, etc so I can get my name out? I have sent some of my work to some university mags, but have been rejected. Any info and/or suggestions would be appreciated!

www.poetry.com is a poetry service that prints books and magazines and other media with your poetry. It doesn't *all* cost but some of it does. Also consider other poetry contests...getting awards for your poetry is nice boost and helps get your name out and credibility. Also consider doing a website with some of your poetry. Mine is just a freebie site at http://www.geocities.com/counttheways but I get inquiries on my poems every month because of people finding them on the site.

The Fiddlehead is a mag out of Fredericton (UNB) and spit out lots of local poetry by amateurs such as us.
