can fake nails help me from chewing my real nails?

i bite my nails all the time and i only do it when i am really nervous!!!!! i put fake nails on last night i am thinking that this will help.

perhaps you wouldn't chew your nails if you went to a salon and spent 25 dollars on a manicure and had your nails done....what a shame to jusn nibble all that hard work off your fingertips

Try not to chew the fake nail.

It might help some but you should put this cream stuff on your nails that lasts 24 hours, and when you bite your nails it will taste exstremly nasty and keep putting it on everyday and soon eough you won't bite your nals anymore.

I have the same problem but I do it all the time. Two ways I keep myself from doing it is putting nails on or paint my nails.You can also try to put something on your fingers and it might keep you from bit ting.

I have that problem too. And I get Acrylic nails put on. It works for me.

It could help. But be sure to take them off the right way, and don't just pop them off. It can weaken your nails and make them thinner. Also, I wouldn't wear them all the time.

Yeah it can .. but then you might be attempted to bite your fake ones - then they'll just fall off . The best advice (this is going to sound really stupid) but to get braces .. i used to be a serious addict to biting, i got braces and couldn't actually bite them and now i've got them off i don't bite them at all

if you got actual acrylic nails from a salon, they would be too tough to chew into! i would try that.

yes they do but it also messes up your real nails as well
