Old cartoons are just plain hard to find. A lot of the famous filmation stuff like archie and sabrina were shown in their original run Saturday mornings 35 years ago, maybe shown the next season on sunday mornings, and that was it. No syndication, just gone. And good stuff, like the things TMS and Nelvana put out. You just don't see it.

When the VHS format came out, they were battling for dominance against the BETA format, and bought the rights to all kinds of toons. They would release a very limited number of each but they got to tell the big movie studios that they already had x thousand titles. But the videos are still out there, floating around in flea markets & places like that.

I'm curious as to why the studios don't release these toons for download. There are hundreds of titles buried in movie vaults.

Adam's Family is on Boomerang at 7:00 a.m. every morning. Lots of old cartoons there.
