This is how I remember it:

There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza,
A hole in my bucket, dear, Liza, a hole

Well fix it dear Georgie, dear Georgie
Fix it dear Georgie, fix it

With what shall I fix it dear Liza dear Liza
With what shall I fix it dear Liza, fix it?

With straw dear Georgie, dear Georgie
With straw dear Georgie, With straw

But the straws too dry, Dear Liza, Dear Liza
The straw's too dry, dear liza too dry

Well wet it dear georgie, dear georgie
wet it dear georgie wet it

In what shall I get the water dear liza dear liza
in what shall i get the water dear liza in what

In the bucket dear georgie dear georgie
in the bucket dear georgie the bucket

But there's a hole in my bucket dear liza dear liza
there's a hole in my bucket dear liza a hole

Then it repeats . . .

My wording might be a little off and I might of left something out -- it's been years since I last heard it.

i used to sing this when i was a kid, with my sister, we would start it out sweet, but get increasingly angry at each other and by the end almost kill each other. it was a cute bit and would probably work today on some show like heehaw. what do ya think?
