That's for sure.. Just take a look at the Kennedy family.. So sad......my family was quite poor but we were happy, for a while anyway.......

I do not agree with some of these answers. You do not need money to be happy. Money is the root of all evil. Money only equals happiness if you truly believe that. But, can one survive without money? YES. The problem is that our government has made us a technologically lazy country. We rely on convenience. But have you ever spent time in the woods? God put alot of creatures her on earth for us to eat. (part of life's cycle). Including vegetation. So you can survive without money,but mos people are too lazy to try. Do not ever believe that money is the answer. Money causes more problems than it resolves. It is because of money and the desire to have it that our world is in such horrible shape today.

I don't agree. It all depends on you environment. If you live in a remote environment then money does or will not play a part in your happiness. However, if you live in a small town, village or city then you will require ENOUGH to have the basics in life. These would add peace of mind and so lend to your happiness.

Of course it has a link, money problems break up hundreds of marriages. If you can pay the bills that makes you more happy than having bill collectors bother you day and night, I know. Living comfortably is better than scraping by isn't it?

Yes it does - financial security. Not having any money leads to stress and an inability to provide for your own survival. That will not make you happy.
Unfortunately, you have to have money to live nowadays, so I'd say no money = unhappiness. I wouldn't say that money = happiness, but it does = food on the table.
