Where are the nicest rooms, Pyramid, West Tower or East Tower?

Love it...I stay there everytime I go which is every other week for business. I like the uniqueness it has to offer and the staff are very helpful. Their pool and spa area are marvelous. For cheaper rates become a casino club member via their website. They give you great rates via email and if you decide to gamble at Luxor or any hotels affiliated with them you get points. It is free to be a member.

I stay in either of the towers because the elevators are faster. The inclinators in the pyramid tend to be slow.

We love it there ... gambling is good and the atmosphere is great. Pyramid Cafe is a good place to eat at a reasonable price and their buffet is good. Stay in a tower room as the Pyramid rooms have a weird ceiling and window. Even if we aren't staying there its a casino that we make a point of visiting when we go to Las Vegas (2 or 3 times a year). The pool is nice, but you have to walk through the casino area to get to it.

The Luxor and the Excalibur which is right next door are both just barely okay. The rooms are like a cheap motel room. The service is lousy. The food in the restaurants tastes like cheap quality microwave food that wasn't even microwaved well and don't even think that you will find a 'cheap' buffet dinner there. I'd spend a little bit more and go to one of the newer hotels down the strip.

The hotel itself is nice, but the room was really nothing special. Like any other room you'd get at a cheap motel. I don't think that the rooms are very different besides how many/what sized beds there are. Though some have whirlpools if you're into that, and some have a view. But that costs extra, if you want a view, go out onto the strip, you don't need to see it from your room.

Luxor is just OK--it's at one end of the strip so if you want to go anywhere it's quite a walk or you have to take the tram thing which takes almost as long.
The restaurants are just OK--the pool however is very nice.
The rooms are nothing special, but it's clean.

I would avoid the Pyramid, since the windows are all at a slant and you can easily bump your head on them. Also, the elevator ride (inclinator is what they call it), is a real thrill each time you want to go to your room (think roller coaster... maybe not that bad, but a pain).

I had a great room in the Pyramid in 1999. I liked it. =)

It was great when it was new but I've read now the rooms are becoming dated and old looking. For the money I would choose another place; NYNY, Aladdin, Flamingo, Bally's

Pyramid is cool, but the rooms are overpriced.

I think it is shaped like a pyramid and it has a big flashlight atop its pinnacle
