because she is trying to make money and she saw that mtv was heading in that direction rather than rock like it was in the 90's.
She said that can make me more money i'm going to sell my soul and play crappy music for the rest of my life.

so because she does makes songs with hip hop artists she is now black. amazing. too bad a good 75-80 percent of people who buy hip hop albums like her's are not black and her music is generally targeted toward suburban teenage white girls.

what do you mean "turn black"? are you suggesting that b/c she paired with pharrell (who's black) she's turned black herself? and what's wrong with catering to a bigger audience? i will agree, however, that i dont' like her cd too much but it has nothing to do with her turning "black". you should be careful saying things like that. someone may take offense (or is that your intent?).
