I agree with the above answer. A specialist can narrow down your problem area. Have you and your partner been to a doctor to be tested? It isnt always the female who cant get pregnant.

My Sis-in-law has PCOS. She also found out that she had early stages on dibetes, so her dr. put her on meds. and diet. 4 months later she was pregnant and has had a beautiful baby boy.

My point is there could be a number of reasons why you can conceive. It may not be in the female areas, it could be anywhere.

My co-worker had to have Provera to give her a period, then she had to do Clomid 4 times. It took her 7 months, but She is due in September.

I wish you the best, God has a plan for you. It will happen when He wants it to. You are in my prayers.

I used a few rounds of clomid with NO results. Although, my friend had tried for YEARS and had her 1st child after getting pregnant while on her 1st round of clomid!

It really just depends on you, how helpful your doctor is too. I was really bad about not taking my BBT and so I can't guarantee that we were TRYING during ovulation.

It could work for you. Give it a try. For me the side effects were minimal. Don't let that scare you! Good luck!

I used it with metformin and got pregnant after 7 years of trying. BUT, are you seeing a reproductive endocrinologist? I would suggest one. My Ob/gyn put me on Clmid for about 6 months first and no luck. So by the time I got to the specialist, we almost couldn't use it because 6 months is about the limit. You should be monitored on it. My RE also did the dye test and it cleared a blockage in my tubes along with artificial insemination to get them really close to where they needed to go. So I highly recommend going to the specialist if you can. It only took two months with him. Good luck! PCOS sucks.

I used clomid and got pregnant twice. The first one was a blighted ovum (sperm and egg meet but don't develop into a fetus) i had no problems at all. Have you been tested for ovulation?? Has your husbands sperm been tested?? You can only have so many cycles of clomid.

i just finished my third cycle of clomid and started my period today, so it hasn't been successful for me. my doctor said it is not safe to use more that three times so she is going to look into other options for my husband and i. however, my best friend used clomid and she conceived with the first cycle. so everyone is different. good luck.

I had to take clomid to get pregnant with my son. We are now using it again to ttc #2.

It really depends on why you aren't able to get pregnant as to if Clomid will work for you. In my case, I wasn't ovulating, so it worked for me. It wouldn't help if you had blocked fallopian tubes.
