For some people who may think that I want something for free, I don't. The reason that I need a grant for my housing is because I'm college student trying to make a better living for my son and unborn child.

They are a non-profit housing advocacy group who do their own fixed rate mortgages. They aren't a bank, it's not a standard lender, but their mission is to help people break into home ownership because it is the cornerstone of financial stability and the "American Dream". A grant? You want something for free?

Here is some free advice..... get up off your azz and work for a living.... save your money for a down payment on a home you can afford, and then go out and buy it. What's that? You can't save up for a down payment, and make payments on a nice new SUV at the same time? Well... I guess you need to get your priorities straight.
