The trustee listed on the Trust Deed that is being foreclosed.

If you have a specific property in mind, talk to the lender. But there really isn't a service that lets people know not to come in general.

The foreclosure sales are generally held by an attorney handling the foreclosure for the lender - the Trustee on the deed of trust that's being foreclosed is oftentimes not the person that'll be handling the foreclosure itself. Some states require the attorney to become a substitute trustee, while others do not.

Each lender has a different system for handling their foreclosures. Some may post contact information for the attorney handling the sale for them on their website, while you may have to call other lenders for information.

Very few will send out updated information regarding which properties are going to sale, since bankruptcy or reinstatement can occur up until the sale time - and both will stop the sale. The best bet for that is to contact the person handling the sale the morning that it is scheduled.

Good luck!
