The people that don't approve are the business owners and CEOs I bet.

Have you actually ever talked with a small business person, who, after every increase in the minimum wage has to layoff some of their staff because they can't afford to pay the current minimum wage? The minimum wage is an artificial number anyway - why not pay everyone $50.00 - why stop at 7 or 8 or 9 bucks an hour?
Liberals like to promote things that help them feel better about themselves and make them think that they are doing something good, when in reality, they end up hurting the very people that they think that they are helping. Right after the last minimum wage increase, a friend of mine had to lay off everyone in his business except his family members - he just could not afford to pay it. He had that choice or going out business. The business cycle in his business was slow at that time, and the increase in the minimum wage almost killed him...
How does it help people to put them out of work? It doesn't but the liberals can tell themselves that they did something good, and that's all that matters to them...

"The ones that dont approve are the ones that dont benefit from the increase -they are already getting paid to much. "
This is one of the most ridiculous things I have heard in a long time. I had to take a few moments to regain my composure after laughing so hard.
Assuming your statistic is correct I will be one of the 29% that disagrees with raising the minimum wage. To keep raising it to make people "feel" better is ridiculous and dangerous. Yes I make more than minimum wage but I also went to college and work hard. Other than teens and college students, anyone who is working a minimum wage job long term is stupid or lazy. You earn what you are worth.
For the genius I quoted above, the money I make today won't go too far when I have to pay $5 or $6 for a taco at Taco Bell to pay for the lazy, rude, entitlement oriented people making my taco.

I'm guessing that a much higher proportion of the 71 percent than the 29 percent have actually had to work for a minimum wage at some point in their lives. The rest either lived off daddy's money until they were adults (and maybe longer) or must have drunk the spoiled Kool-Aid.

I wonder if they have any idea what that will do to the prices of everything they buy in stores and labor costs? After they agree to those kind of hikes, they will complain about the cost of everything and blame someone for it... rather than themselves!
I would also guess that most of those 71% are people currently earning minimum wage!!!
I believe it's every 4 years, not 2

That is because 71% of Americans don't know the effects on the economy of increasing the minimum wage.

I must be one of the 29%... that would be the part of the country with the functioning brains.
An out of control increase in the minimum wage like that would kill the remaining industries and create and out of control inflation and recession cycle.
FYI: that link you gave us is saying its 50/50 at 1:50 eastern time.

organic bred would not recommend properly bred, some runts of the clutter do only not attain complete advance . There are some lines which have shorter legs and are stockier, some are longer legged and leaner. Many outside breeders do not breed to the classic, they don't study what stud could artwork with a particular woman, regularly putting jointly 2 dogs that do not do properly even as they produce, the domestic dogs have all their faults and then some.

They're the same numbers that support (29%) and do NOT support (71%) Bush... Interesting.
