Nothing you can do. You just have to live with the discolored toenail for 6 months or more till it grows out---same thing happened to me 2 years ago. If you are a girl---or a wicked cool guy---just cover it up with nail polish!

There's nothing to do but wait for time's healing touch.
But be prepared for some ulgy scenes.
It's grey-blue now, later it'll get all black. That's because a scab has formed underneath the nail.
Overtime, the scab will rise to the level of the nail, and it gets wobbly. It's either creepy, or morbidly fascinating, depending on how you look at it.
If you decide to pull it off early on, you'll have a nailess, pinky toe!

Hate to tell you this, but you need to get a tiny drill bit (1/64 or smaller) and drill a hole in the nail to relieve the pressure. Don't use a drill, just slowly turn it by hand till it goes through.

You can't really heal it, the bruise has to just grow out. Try to keep it protected so you don't rebruise it while it is healing. And make sure it is a bruise and not a fungus

With bruised nails there is nothing you can do but wait for it to heal itself.
