Life always change, and we change with life. Hopefully we're changing into a better, not a worse, person. I'm always trying to be better, and often times I fail, and often times I succeed. It's a process, not a destination. Sometimes I don't like change because it means something new and unknown. I always catch myself trying to make my friends and family better, and that can be good, and that can be bad. When I pester them about how they ought to do this or that, that's not helpful. But when I lovingly show them the way whether through words, or my own actions, that can help them quite a bit. It all depends.

I am coming from a Christian perspective...I have tried to become a better person (a more Christlike person) but have always failed at doing so. Now I know that I can't make myself better...but in fact if I do become a better person it is Christ in me that is changing my life. I cannot change for the better on my own. Since my relationship with Christ began I am a better person in the sence that Christ is in my life.
I do not push people into changing their lifestyles although I feel a responsibility with children...to let them know what behavior is not acceptable and what behavior is honorable (according to Scripture).

I am continually evolving into a better, kinder, more understanding person every single day...
It is a work in progress, and I have lots of set backs the same as anyone else... However, in my heart I keep fighting to improve in what ever way I can...
I do succeed in the sense that I keep pushing forward and blame no one for my imperfections...
It lies with in myself to work out what is going to help me to make these changes... You can't pray for something and not act in accord with your prayer...
As far as changing people around me, no. They have to change them selves... I can set the example and remember that some are won with out a word... It is more by a persons actions as apposed to what we say... â¥

Anytime I tried to change someone around me, I just made my life more stressful.
Anytime I tried to change myself I failed. I thought about suicide, but decided it really wouldn't help anybody else...it would just put me out of my misery.
It's a waste of time to try to change somebody else. If you want to change yourself you can, just be persistent.

I have tried many times all failures till now. I believe that I have succeded. You can't change people around you. You can only change your self to adapt to those around you. ILD has tought me that.

"How can I change the world, if I can't even change myself" - Faithless.
As we are constantly born again through our decisions, so do we constantly have the opportunity to pursue a better life, if we choose to do so.
It is entirely within your reach.
