In my opinion, many people expecting more from Ronaldo, since he has already long made himself a football star. Maybe it was because of the team spirit and the ways of the Brazilian coach; Brazil could have done better, there's just so much talent in their players.

Fabio Cannavaro is a wonderful defender, always accomplishing defensive feats for the Italians and basically making Buffon's job a little easier. =D From Italy's success in the tournament, he has also done a good job leading the squad. He also didn't commit any fouls; a great role model for other football players. Some people say he's really hot, but I guess he's okay in terms of hotness... Totti, Grosso, Toni, and Gilardino are better-looking, at least in my opinion.

wich Ronaldo? Ronaldo from Brasil did a good job for being over weight. he set a new record this WC.Cannavaro is the best player on the Italy team he plays clean. definitly the best captain this WC.

Ronaldo used his skills well. Unfortunately he also acted well. He is such a skillfull player. Why does he need to do that?
I don't know any fan that appreciates play acting. Hence the response he has received.
