Y'know I've had that same thought. Too bad we can't get a petition going and send it to the big whigs at the movie studios.

I would definatley pay to see another Bridget Jones movie made. Her mother is so funny and her dad is really nice. Good relationship between father and daughter. Her friends Shazza, Jude, and Tom are funnier still. Is it just me or is Tom gay? I think Bridget and Daniel were better looking together, but Mark was a more mature and caring person. Oh my wheels are turning now for a possible plot!!!

Did you know that in the new book Bridget and Daniel are married and have a baby and that the author Helen Fielding said that due to the new baby, Bridget no longer has time to keep a diary. Wonder what happened to Mark?

I would love to see a 3rd movie maybe with Bridget as a mom. It would be so hilarious if she were pregnant and didn't know who the father was, Daniel or Mark?

The movie studios today are so stupid. They go on making 100 James Bond films, or 50 Harry Potter movies, but the movies that SHOULD have a sequel or prequel to, they don't make one for. I agree with you, they should make one last Bridget Jones movie. Can you tell I detest Harry Potter & James Bond?

Agree, i think it would be interesting to see how they could wind in Hugh Grant. Mark and Daniel characters might finally get along. I think a 3rd movie should be made.

I totally agree with you!!!
I think Renee is a great actress and I enjoyed that movie very much. I think that a newlywed eposide would be great to see and I would even love to see her as a "mother of a newborn" in a 4th movie....I think many girls/women can related to "Bridget"
she´s so real...down to earth....and funny & captivating so my answer is YES.....now, who should be her husband'??

Oh yes. What a great idea! I love the begining of the first one:
"Equally important, will find nice sensible boyfriend to go out with and not continue to form romantic attachments to any of the following: alcholoics, workaholics, commitment phobics, peeping toms, meglamaniacs, emotional fuckwits, or perverts. And especially will not fantasize about a particular person who embodies all these things." (enter Hugh Grant) LOL!!!

Yes. My husband and I were channel-surfing not long ago and got hooked on the 2nd movie...have yet to see the first.
But, yes, a 3rd one would be great.
Haven't read the book either, but want to do that, too.
