So the above answer is kind of paranoid, that's like saying don't go to the U.S. because of Hurricane Katrina.
Though I'm not going, the plane ride won't be too bad. Very long though. A lot of planes have games and movies to watch, some even have personal screens that you can watch movies/games on.
Good luck with everything, Korea should be tons of fun!
