I don't know what your talking about! This is not addictive and if my husband has put you up to asking this question you tell him I will NOT go to the intervention-I'm not addicted I can stop answering anytime I want....now excuse me I can still vote I think I have a few of them left then I got to use my other Identity.

Yes of course it's addictive because you are effectively sharing a part of your life/thoughts with complete strangers who are of the same ilk and possibly on the same wavelength! Its almost like having your own social discussion at any time and you have complete control over it. Not only can we all learn from this, but we can share experiences, share thoughts and even have a good laugh. Humour must come into this to keep the whole thing alive. And if we make allowances for the small proportion of dickheads that surface from time to time, then overall Yahoo questions can be a great source of enjoyment and possibly even comfort. And what a buzz to be picked as a best answer as well!

its especially addictive when you're really close to getting to another level. for about 2 days right before i hit level 4 i was answering at least a dozen questions for every 2 hours in the day. it was crazy! now i'm at level 4, and i'm taking sort of a break. until i get kind of close to level 5 and then i'll be back at it, i guess.

but yes, its very addicting.

For some strange reason I find it very addictive. I also find it annoying when people report you for having a laugh and including rude bits in your answers (with ***** instead of the actual words).

I am at a loss to know what the points system really achieves though ... Any clues?

Yeah it is, I stayed up until 3am just on here, slept late today as a result and here I am back again, but I'm almost at level 2 now so it will all be worth it in the end!!!
