Why do we all do this? For what reason should we gather points? Are the points going to do any good? What are you going to do with a million Yahoo! Answer points?
Ok, so info is good? But most people here give opinionated answers...

Information is great, but remember that a lot of the answers on here don't have to be taken literally, and that they are all opinions. Although sometimes disguised as facts, or the answerer may believe he/she is right amongst everyone else. This is just input, like getting advice from a friend, it may be good or bad.

We do it to meet new people and to earn points for answering questions. But we lose 5 points for asking questions.
