Will you go?

2006-08-03 02:24:01 · 10 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

Well, a few of you have said it is not our business, but this is a US-Israeli action, why do you think we are so concerned? We funded it, we supply it, we ratified it. What do you think Condie is doing over there? C'mon! We have a responsibility in this. The US is standing alone against the whole world in allowing this to continue. For what, more dead civilians? please, it is immoral and we Americans have blood on our hands for this also.

Time for some responsibility people, and this is the only voice we have in case you haven't noticed, we must march. Otherwise this will continue on the Governments timetable. By adding the pressure of popular discontent to this slaughter over there, and solidarity with the innocent Lebonese who are just trying to live thier lives like you and I, we tell the Governments of both countries that this must end soon or we will be bugging them more, shutting down the local businesses and such...

I am 100% in support of this march.

Aren't you libs always telling the rest of us we have no business getting involved with other countries? Gee, that philosophy sure didn't last long!

Let the Israelis handle their own affairs...they're doing just fine! If they don't want a ceasefire, who are YOU to tell them to agree to one?

Quit poking your nose in other countries' business!

I am not currently living in America but if I could yes I would march. What ever I could do to help, if nothing more then just showing support. I want everyone to cease fire. I want the prisoners on both sides that are being held with no charges to be released. I want innocent people on both sides to stop being killed. But what is happening in Lebanon and Palestine is not a fair fight. But you can't have a fair fight when the US backs one country. Blood shed will continue until someone gets in the office of the US who is more interested in what is going on in his own country then others. It is one thing to want to help, but another to lie and pretend to help for a purpose that is yet to be know. WMD, democracy, OIL!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

truly i believe in protecting my country! my son is making a carrier out of the navy. but one more time we are sticking our nose in where it is not wanted! Vietnam is a good example. we have lost our loved ones to a cause that can not be won! Lebanon and Palestine people have been fighting for hundreds of years. who are we to go over get involved and say no more. it is like picking one flea off a dog and telling the others to leave or i`ll do this to you. we have enough problems on our own soil! kids starving, gangs, medical cost these just to name a few! give it a rest!! lets for once focus on our own problems. they are getting bigger every day!

Why would any self respecting person attend such a sham politcal protest? It's all about slamming the US and Israel - it has nothing to do with promoting peace, it's about promoting terrorism and the "Hate America First" agenda...

Why would you promote something like this - it will do nothing for peace...

do i support it? yeah, freedom of speech...as long as its peaceful, go for it! thats what this country is about. do i agree with the view for a cease-fire? i dont think so, at least not until a workable deal is in place so this doesnt happen again in the near future. so no, i wont go, even if i lived anywhere near it, which i dont.

Yes. I think that the HezBULLies should immediately cease firing rockets at civilians in Israel. They should also immediately return any Israeli citizen in their 'custody'.
