Friends of course. We have lovely little chats about how their fishing is coming on when I fall into their grotto after a healthy session in the pub.
Sometimes they give me some of their special mushrooms and then carry me into the shed.
Funny, I always wake up with my trousers down.
They say that they fell down themselves, but I'm not so sure.

If, when you go out into the garden at night, and you stub your toe on them, they are a foe!

If, when you can see them, in the daylight, and you can walk around and avoid them, they are just a statue that you happen to like and put there in the garden...

I wish you well..

Jesse

Depends on what you do with them...

Just plain I think they're boring...so I'd have to say foe.

However, if you have some fun with them...tie them up with rope and put a sign in front of it that says, "HELP!" or decorate them for Christmas.

The only garden gnomes I despise are the ones dressed up like University of Tennessee fans...ugh!

I don't mind them in other peoples' gardens, but I definitely don't want any in my garden. hehe.

The Travelocity gnome is rather funny. He's the kind that someone might kidnap!
