They figure that you're part of their "target audience" because you took part in another of their offers.

I believe they buy those lists off of those solicitors that you did take the offer from, they figure your opt in to buy things online and will send you stuff forever.
Maybe you shouldn't have put your email on here either?

They add your email address to a directory that is used by hundreds of sites to send out advertisements.
