By far the best yoyu can get is with T mobile, tehy have a Flexi tariff, which is basically a monthly allownace of credit to use as you please
I am on Flexi 35 i pay 35£ a month a recieve back 180£ of credit.
You can also pay for examplev £20 a month for about 80£ of credit.
It is a bargain, and you only pay thast one fixed amount as it is pretty much impossible to go over your allowance (unless you are on your phone non stop, not even sleeping!)
Hope That helps! Oh and if you do go onto the 18month (whihc i would advise) you get a completely free handset!

If you want to stick to a 12 month contract (Not 18 months like Flext), The best talk plans are usually direct with the networks online. Most of them have online only tariffs. Eg. On '3' on a 12 month contract you can get 750mins & 150 texts for 30 quid a month or 300 mins and 1000 texts a month. This is double for the first 3 months. You also get 50 free mms, 50 free video mins & 5 quid of free downloads each month. There are good deals available on other networks online also. As a rule the best tariffs are available online direct from the network provider. However you may get good cash back deals on the hight street or online.

Buy a tracfone for $20 ,then buy the phone card that will suit your needs.. That way you won't have to pay for contracts, service, and activation fees

Your best bet might be T-Mobile. But check around, you'd be surprised what you can get and where.
Try places like the link, carphone warehouse etc.
