It can't be any of the presenters 'cos they have been seen in the same room together. Tiff Needell is often rumoured to be the current Stig although he has a contract with channel five. I don't think it's Damon Hill or any of the racing drivers that have been on the show because they have all given their own power lap times. My theory is that the Stig is... Ralph Firman.

Well the Stig isn't just one person. In fact there have been many drivers who have played the mysterious Stig. For one, Formula One driver Heikki Kovalinen played him when the Renault F1 car was featured on Top Gear.

Has he changed? I didn't see any of the last series, but the original Stig was definitely Perry McCarthy.

I would like to know who the stig is as well. I have heard it's Damon Hill but someone has already said they have asked him and he denies it.

I heard that the old one was a former F1 test driver called Perry McCarthy (sp.), but they killed him off.
The new one. have no idea. Damon hill has denied it. I suspect it is another test driver of some sort.
