Because:
-he's waiting for something better.
-he's not feeling "it".
-he's getting what he wants (sex) without having to put the time into it.
-you are too clingy.
-you are moody.
-you are high maintainence.
-even though you want a relationship, he still gets what he wants by leading you on.
-you're both too young.
-he's had a bad experience before and doesn't want to go through it again.
-men are from Mars and women from Venus, therefore if he wanted the relationship, you'd have wanted the one night!
-he hasn't had time to get to know you (if you had a one nighter after a party/night out/etc).
Hold out, don't be tempted. The longer he waits for it, the more he'll want it, the more time he'll put in to get it, the more he'll get used to your presence, the less he'll think about sex and spend more time thinking about how much he loves you---then you give "it" to him, with interest! (Unless he's like me and gives up and finds another henhouse to raid--which sucks because you give up on your first true love to forever wander around searching for her equal)

The heart wants what the heart wants! No explanation is necessary or possible. At this time of his life, he thinks he is a player. If you are looking for a relationship, then decline his offer. You will just get hurt if you believe there is a chance to make this into something deeper.
Just look around for a while. There are plenty of guys who would love to have a relationship with a nice woman. Don't waste your time and emotional energy on the players.

If you are a girl that is willing to have a one night stand there is the trickle down effect in this situation. A boy that doesn't have much respect for himself and others and is too insecure to form a relationship...will seek the one night stand type of girl because she also has no respect for herself and has low self esteem.....If you are willing to put yourself out there sexually without expecting more for yourself in the first place then you have put yourself into this cycle of disrespect and one night stands......

Because you wanted to open the door for yourself.
Or more specifically because your mothers couldn't abide a world where women and men were seperated by roles based on gender they became breadwinners and family decision makers and most importantly thet determined what was appropriate in courtship and the pursuit of a woman. With all masculine behavior scoundrelized it makes no difference to a man how he behaves. As he has no decisions or control in courtship he has not motivation to pursue anything serious with you. As Marriage has been changed from an admirable achievement in a man's life to a pitiable end to his manhood men will avoid anything that resembles the approach to this terrifying prospect.

Stop worrying about what he wants and why! What do you want? A relationship? Then don't start out with a man who doesn't want to be in one or you're handicapping yourself from the start.
I'll be the first to admit I can't really explain why we women seem to be addicted to changing men. Nine times out of ten it is NOT going to happen. Only you can decided, of course, but do you want a relationship or a project? Good luck!

He obviously does not like you enough for a relationship, I know this sounds harsh but it happens to everyone.
Stop the one night stands and find someone who is looking for a relationship.

It's just the way guys are built. We like sex, but don't necessarily want to turn it into a long-term relationship.
Yeah, we men are pigs, I admit it.
But if you look long and hard enough, you'll find a man who does want a relationship.

you see love, some times our tryst are made in such a place which are ,nowadays, more popular for such pleasure. your involvement and presence will categorise yourself into such group and vice-versa. the other reason is the social cycle thesedays has made people more aware of many situation and nobody wants to be a fool. you nor me. give it some good background and lengthy of time, i'm sure you will find something out of it. but quick decision are rarely accountable.

Since every thing is so easy and available in western community.. there are no social or religious rules to control the way you behave towards others, and therefore it is ok if somebody be sooooooo careless about otheres feelings and needs
