It takes time. The house market is not moving very well right now, at least not in our area. Ask your Realtor what he would suggest. There may be some improvements to your home or yard that would increase interest. It could be you have it priced to high for what is selling... There are many reasons yours may not be moving and a good Realtor should have relevant ideas to help you out. (S)He has seen many houses in your area and knows what is on the market. They have seen what sells and what doesn't. I would schedule a meeting and walk through of your property with them and make a list of everything they find wrong. Don't take it personal, take it as a help! Encourage them to be brutally honest.
FSBO homes take longer to sell. It is harder to trust what you are buying that way and very little recourse after purchase. There is also little to no advertising. Many people enjoy using the Internet to search for a home, and as a FSBO, it would not be listed on Realtor.com or the local real estate websites.

I don't know where you are, or if the market there is hot or not. If it's hot, then you might want to check if there's something wrong with the house that might scare potential buyers away (things in need of repair or cleaning, weird colors on the walls that they'd have to repaint, etc.). Your house is supposed to look its best (and appealing to everyone, so no wacko stuff) if you want it to be sold.
If the market is not hot, then you'll just have to wait, but if you want to speed things up, you can always lower your price. If the market is slow, don't be greedy, cause people will be putting properties in the market maybe in better condition than yours and with better prices. It's a matter of competition.
In any case, whether the market is slow or hot, try to be reasonable when setting your price, and if you need to lower it, then do it. That'll make your house sell faster in almost every case.
Also, are you working with an agent? Consult with him/her. They have keen eyes for things that can make a house sell faster.
Good luck!

Get it out there, make sure it's with a real estate agent, and that you've listed it with a listing service.. the more exposure your house has, the greater chance it'll be sold faster.
Also.. the area and what your house looks like are a big factor in how fast it sells.. check out a few sites on selling your home to see if there's anything about the interior and your decorating that might be pushing potential buyers away.

The "house selling" market is the worst it's been in over 10 years. The interest rates on mortgages are as high as they've been in even longer. I doubt anyone is going to buy a house right now. Maybe a few are looking, but few. Best of luck.

Contact a real estate investor which is what I am. If title is clear and the home appraises OK, you could be out in 1 to 2 weeks! Check in your Real Estate classified ads for "I Buy Houses".
