Definitely a female gang. In fact, I don't think there are any high school sororities.

Sororities involve a true sisterhood organization with dues, etc. They usually have a house and an affiliation with a National Group. Plus, they have Greek Letters.

After I read your question, I had to give this some thought. I really think/feel they were more of a gang than a sorority, just based on their actions & attitudes in the movie. If I were in a school with a gang like them, I probably would have been scared to death of them! lol They were "tough chicks" fer sher!

a gang,

sorority.....that kinda intersting take.literally they are a group of women in a kinda sisterhood.

but what most people would understand as a sorority involes a more traditional setting such as frat parties and fake id night at the local bar.

They were a gang! It's obvious considering they were in High School not college....

I guess they would be considered a gang since they are not in college.
