It doesnt matter if your left or right , for abortion , or against it , democrat or republican , voted for Bush or didnt , marched against the war or signed up and shipped out , it doesnt matter if your a high paid executive or a truck driver , if your a left-wing movie producer or a right-wing NRA lobbyist , when you come down to the bottom line we all have one thing it common , were all Americans and these islamic extremists , Iran and Syria inparticular , dont care about any of that , they dont care if you support them and are against Isreal , they want all of us to die , we live in a country with a freedom of speech and a freedom of religion and if it's not theirs , they want us to die , all of us , not just the left , not just the right , not just the catholics , not just the baptist , all of us , when are we all going to wake up and realize this fact

You know, I could write something cute or stupid. But I would feel kind of dirty. What you wrote is right on. We, as Americans, sometimes have to put our petty and many times silly differences aside. I regret that it will take another 9-11 to do that. I only hope that when it happens, every American WILL understand the real danger. This country has gathered together before. I expect we will again. The answer to the Islamics? I don't know. Fighting them is like nailing jello to a wall. They may just win, unless we as Americans do the ultimate response. And we may well have to. Good Lord, now I am depressed. Thank you for a sobering and thought out question. Maybe, just maybe you woke a few people up.

Your off base. Give Iran the bomb, they are unwilling to use it. Iran's leadership is frail, the young know that they need hardliners to kill the corruption but beyond the mullahs and such are useless. Neutralize Isreal with Irans bomb, Iran and others will declare Isreal a state. Assassinate the will of militant Hezbollah, the govermental Hezbollah is busy doing business. If you bridge the gap these problems will cease to exist. These problems are not as you say. In fact the saxon man has trapsed into the middle east many times. All arabs really want is to be connected with the world and have the things that we have but retain their religiousity, that isn't that hard to give them.

I would hate American's too.. if they came into my country and totally overturned it. You're killing people, you're disrupting their way of life.. you're trying to make their customs obsolete just because you don't believe them..
I'm Canadian.. and we're over there too.. We're fighting the war, we have soldier's dying left and right. They don't hate us.. and the reason is.. we're just there to see that the peace is kept. We're helping people...
You're ruining their lives.. we're trying to help fix it behind your backs.. They care if they're supported, they care if their helped. I don't see them hating us... I live in a country with freedom of speech and religion.. it's not theirs.. they don't want us to die.. any of us..
Maybe America should take a look at the way it's handling things.. the way it's interfering, the way THEY hate so much.. There's your answer..

Thats whats wrong witht his country. We don't stand together and prove all the stereotypes wrong. What really pisses me off is how these nations look at Israel and America as one. We are different countries. If our President chooses to have close relations with this country, it does not mean all of us Americans support it. Then they will say death to Israelis and death to Americans, because they see we are so closely assosciated. It is really annoying and getting to the point where they are looking to kill Americans for Israels actions in Lebanon.
