Look at how the Mets, Tigers, White Sox, Red Sox, and even some teams like the dodgers, angels, and the building marlins (2008/09 will probably be their years)
Good pitching, and some good lineups.
Even if the cubs have a great year, and get a lot of help, they will never win the world series. only one of the above teams will.
