I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to ghosts, but has anyone ever had any experiences?

Rob, any time you want to check out a real haunting, let me know I can hook you right up!

I bought my home in a very historical part of Denver, as a matter of fact I can see Molly Browns home from my window.

My home was built around the turn of the century. The crafsmanship is like none you will ever find in the new homes, thats what attracted me to it.

The first night I slept here my cats were sitting in the front room by the fireplace and they were all watching something. I looked where they were looking, yet I saw nothing. This went on and still goes on day and night from time to time.

A few days after I had moved in I was sitting on the couch about 10 at night and I caught something out of the corner of my eye, yet when I turned to see what it was, nothing was there. I wrote it off as a new house, maybe car lights hitting something and reflecting off...never thought ...Ghost Alert. I happens in here all of the time, as a matter of fact it JUST happened thats what made me think of it.

I would go to bed and wake up with a light on someplace in the house, it is almost always the kitchen light. Then the "ghost rings" started. My phone will ring, the caller ID reads "Data not sent" and no one is on the other end of one of these calls, but it is a call because when I pick it up, there is never a dial tone. The phone company has reran the lines from the pole to the "D" box and then rewired the house, it kept on, dialing *69 produces "The last party that called can not be reached by this means." I also replaced all of my phones, yet I get 4-10 calls a week, sometimes in 1 day.

I will also hit 'cold spots" in my home. Those are also found in the kitchen or in the back of the formal dinning room next to the kitchen.

4 Weeks ago last night I fell a sleep on the couch, as I tend to do often at this home. I was in a deep hard sleep and I heard someone call me. I knew no one was in the house so I thought I was dreaming it and I fell back a sleep. I do not know how much longer I slept but I heard someone call my name again. This time when I woke up the light in my bathroom was on. I homestly did not remember leaving it on. I went in to turn it off and on the floor of the bathroom was a newborn kitten still in the sack. I took care of it and then walked around and found where my kitty had 5 other ones, all in different places, all still in the sacks. The momma kitty simply did not know what to do. I cleaned them all up and put them in a box with her and they are all fine today. If I would not have been awaken, the outcome would have been very sad.

I spoke to a neighbor who has lived next to this house for 30 years and she told me that a man did die in here a few years ago. The details of that are to graphic to post, but trust me, he went in a horriable way. She also told me that while the home sat empty after his death she would see light on and off and she knew no one was in here, she had even called the police to check it out.

After that she said that the home has had about 5 different families in it, none staying longer than a year or so. She said that one family only lived here for about 7 months.

Haunted? Ghost? Spirit? I do not know. I have been to www.ghoststudy.com and read up on things like this, maybe you can do the same.

I have no plans to move, I deal with worse than a voice waking me up to save little kittens on a daily basis. BUT I will tell you this much, if the house is really haunted and this is not just freak things that keep going on, the first time he changes my radio station or drinks my last bottled water, hes out of here!

My oldest daughter had moved into a small house. She had lived there maybe, a month when she heard a woman singing, the next week or so she saw a man walk through her livingroom. I told her I was going to come over one day and take a few pictures around the house just to see what would show up. I procrastinated a bit, until my son(then 11 yrs old) spent the night there and saw a woman wearing what he described as old fashioned clothes, walking around the house.
I came over one afternoon and snapped a few pictures around her house...pictures were developed and you can clearly see a little girl sitting on the front porch and a woman standing in the bedroom window wearing old fashioned clothes! My daughter finally decided to move out after her house had been broken in several times...both times the police said the window was pryed open from the inside!

In my mother's house when I was a kid things would disappear and then come back again in the place they were suppose to be. You see a lot of moving shadows too.
I had also seen a man and a little girl about 8 standing over a boy not much older than her. The were dressed as if it were the 1800's. The little girl was crying and sometime you can hear her at night. But they are friendly and helpful, My mom once locked her keys in her van and went inside to make a call and when she went back out to her van all the doors were unlocked.

It occurred in our institution that converted each person's view on ghosts, we knew the institution was once a little bit haunted however we not ever quite believed any ghosts studies till there was once this one time for the period of our elegance that a new scholar entered the room. The trainer did not even trouble asking the brand new scholar because it was once a begin of a brand new semester so he anticipated it to be a overdue one. A short time have handed, instantly this scholar all wearing black (black blouse and denims) stood up and walked within the center of the room then immediately through the blackboard, each person shouted out loud that it stunned the entire institution. Even I are not able to suppose what simply occurred however i used to be there and it occurred correct earlier than my eyes. Its any such disgrace i did not even checked out him on the face the second he entered the room. I realize its no longer as horrifying because it sounds however quite, correct realize the hairs on my epidermis are status up. I can nonetheless keep in mind the whole lot, the shouting, screaming, the whole lot, each person was once in surprise.

No I don't believe in ghosts, but I have seen some unexplainable things. There is a grave yard in Maine where a sea captain is buried and his wife cursed him for fooling around. A red stocking appears on his grave stone. The stone has been changed, the stocking has been removed by grinding, but still comes back. In Maryland, the doctor who fixed Booth's leg after he killed Lincoln, Samuel Mudd, his house is said to be haunted. I have never seen anything, but the people who work there have lots of stories. If any of this is true, who knows. I don't believe in ghost, but then I can't explain it away. Of course I don't believe in aliens from outer space, or UFOs but people keep insisting.

A ghostly nun?
Read on...
I was in a girls' school from where i came from, which is Malaysia, and my former school was one of the oldest, existing before the WW1. There are many spooky stories circulating beneath the surface, all of them reluctantly told.
Well, this happened to a senior of mine. The school is a convent all-girls school, so it only made sense that they had all the photos of the past principals (all of them nuns) framed and hung on the wall in the hall, north, south, east and west. There are times when you feel like there are hundreds of pairs of eyes staring at you, and there are students who were really spiteful, saying cruel things about those nuns. This particular girl was one of them, and she was extra-spiteful because one of the nuns had her sister expelled after she got pregnant. She had to return to school at night after realizing that she had ost her house keys, so back to the school she did, taking the cab, assuming that the keys WERE in school. The guard by the door waved her in, and she went straight to the hall. There was an organ in the middle of the hall, where it was played during Bible class every Friday. When she got there, she was surprised to see the lights on, and the sounds of the organ being played reached her ears. She walked in and found that there was a nun playing Ave Maria by the organ with her back facing the other girl. Thinking that she must be one of the nuns on duty that night, she apprached her. "Sister," she asked hesitantly, "have you seen a set of keys..." She touched the nun's arm and was shocked at how icy it felt to her touch. The nun ignored her and continued playing. This girl, getting really impatient, went to the front of the organ to face the nun. She screamed.
The next day, when the guard went to open the doors, he saw this girl lying unconscious beside the massive organ, a set of keys cenched in her hand. He then summoned the principal, and after severall attempts, managed to revive the girl. She was hysterical and ket screaming something about a nun.
She was never the same, and since then, she refused to step into the hall, although she refused to tell anybody what she saw that night. Her parents, unable to stand the pressure everybody was putting on their daughter, finally moved away.
A few months later, she finally told a friend at her old school, and that friend went on to tell everybody she knew.
She saw a nun, but the nun had no facial features. Just a smooth face with the eyes, nose wiped away.
Nobody knew where the nun came from, and in the end everybody just assumed that she was one of the past principals who had cameback to guard the place, and thinking that the girl was up to no good, decided to give her the fright of her life.
Oh, and there were no guards on duty that night.
Next story...
Hang on tight.
The school where i did my A-levels was even older, and served as the headquarters for the Japanese soldiers when they invaded Malaya in 1942. There was a torture room, an execution room...all those unimaginable stuff they did to the locals who refused to co-operate with them (they usually just behead them). The school has a policy about not allowing students to set up camps on the school grounds, thus after dark, the school will be heavily padlocked and guarded by guards who carried real rifles, appointed by the school. However, though, word leaked out from the nightguard, who swore that when the moon is full, the Japanese soldiers will continue to roam the school, barking out orders in Japanese, marching up and down the corridors.
All of them headless.
Many have seen them; the nightguard wasn't the first, and he was definitely not the last.
By the way, the nightguard got fired, and the secret, they assumed, died with him.

I have always been a bit of a skeptic, but this one house I lived in freaked me out! It wasn't a bad experience, just freaky!

I had 3 children at the time I lived in this particular house (I now have 4 children). One day, I put them in bed for a nap. I kept hearing a little girl singing and playing, making quite a bit of noise! I went upstairs to the kids' room to remind them they were supposed to be napping only to find them all sound asleep, but I could still hear the voice of a little girl singing! I followed the voice to a spare bedroom we used for storage and stood outside the door.....I could hear this little girl's voice talking and singing to herself and shuffling stuff around. I opened the door and no one was there, but some of the boxes of storage stuff in that room had been opened and stuff was scattered all around! Needless to say, I shut the door and went back down to the living room and told my husband what had happened. He wasn't surprised....he said he had "seen" a little girl in the hallway the night before, who stood and just looked at him. When he spoke to her, she vanished. In that same house, I would often smell a man's cologne VERY strong.....I knew it couldn't be my husband's because it smelled NOTHING like his!

count me. as i was lying at my bedroom at 11:00pm, i heard someone laughing at my ear. i ignore it. after a few minutes, someone hit my door. i become a little bit of scared. but still, i didn't mind it. but the laugh became much more louder than the first. but still, i kept ignoring. then, silence. and a few minute, someone hit again my door. and i finally step up and open the door to see who's the one hitting in my door. but as i expected, i see noone. then it makes me feel more scary that time. so i decided to step outside my room and went to my sister's room and join her to sleep. finally, i sleep.
