it's true; honesty is the best policy. But people the world over don't seem to want honesty in their politicians. They want someone who will just speak soothing words to them and tell them everything is all right. It's just as true in the US as it is in India.

i think that honesty pays a lot especially in politics. but in all things honesty rewards more than anything no matter the religion you find yourself.i believe that all the religions do talk about beeing honest,so why lieand loose what you have.in politics you dont listen to the people too much byt work with all your heart and i believe working in such countries is no exception.honesty pays in all thins.
