At that moment the wind blew and 'opened' the wrap-around skirt she was wearing. If looks could kill, then the looks she directed at me would have been my end.

I thought about this ...about that look from her which was seemingly saying to me that 'this was all my fault' and that 'I'm a pervert for being there looking,' or some such. The reality was that I was just a bystander to the incident, and she a fool for choosing to wear that skirt on a day like that.

But I'm left wondering as to what else her seeming heartfelt looks could have meant!

Have any of the females any idea as to what was passing through that mind? Have you been in such a situation?

When something goes wrong we always look for a scapegoat. She felt mortally embarrassed, and so she projected her bad feeling onto you. Instead of thinking "omg my skirt blew up, and I'm so embarassed", she looked around to see if anyone saw, and you were looking directly at her. She therefore harboured bad feelings towards you for seeing. Had you not been there, it would not have been half as embarrassing, as there may not have been any witnesses. She was therefore most likely thoroughly resenting your presence, as illustrated by the daggers she shot at you.

Thankfully I rarely wear skirts, and have therefore never suffered this shame. Had you seen the girl again later, she mst likely would have been utterly shamefaced to see you. but would not be angry. That was a spur of the moment, "oh the injustices of the world!" anger!

I have been in a similar situation. Kind of. Whilst trying to run across a road quickly and discreetly (running not being my strong point) I lost a shoe in the middle of the road. Obviously I felt really embarrassed because I was self conscious anyway (maybe she was self conscious because wrap dresses do have a mind of their own) I was embarrassed because people saw and I did feel angry for those people being there and witnessing my misfortune!!

the lady was probably embarrased, poor cow. I for that very reason, have never worn a wrap around skirt, no matter what the weather. Dont fret about it, im sure it was a case of you were the first person she looked at / noticed.

She probably wasnt looking at you, but just towards you. That doesnt mean she thought anything bad about you or anyone else. She probably was embarrased or angry that something like this happened. You thought she gave you that look, because you felt kind of embarrased by starring at her.

You just thought she was glaring at you, infact she was cursing her choice of skirt that morning, which she choose while indoors, in her bedroom, where there are no trees to be viewed and she knew not of the gust's of wind.

She was probably on the blob during rag week.

Just enjoy laughing at her misfortune. You can be sure that she would have looked if it had been a fit guy's shorts falling down...

She was probably dead embarrassed and was looking at you for a kind of confirmation. When she saw that you were letching, rather than sympathising, she was probably doubly gutted.
Just a thought.

Normally the look would have been "Oh Sh*t, why me" she probably was not looking at YOU just cursing life in general for embarrassing her!
