You have actually just made my day. The Joker is my favourite Batman villain and must be played subtly to show the vicious nature; I love my villains to be in control. Also the fact that Christopher Nolan is in charge again has left me with a big Joker like grin too. Thanks for brightening my day...you are a superhero.

Sorry, but Jack Nicholson set the tone for this part. Anyone who plays the Joker has a tough act to follow in my opinion, and whereas I think Heath Ledger's a good actor, I'm not sure he's the right man for this particular job. You need someone who's slightly over the edge in real life as well as on screen.

Really not sure about it. I must admit I've only seen Heath Ledger in a couple of films so not the best judge, but I just can't see it.
I hope I'm wrong and he's brilliant - it would be such a shame to ruin it

I think that it is hilarious! Heath Ledger is a good actor, but he can't compare to Jack Nicholson in that role.

Has he really? Wow that's different. I didn't think he was that big, not for Batman anyway. He's got the big mouth for it I suppose but whether the acting skills is up to it??? We'll have to see I suppose.
