I am 21 years old..but people still call me "Ralphie" why is this?

Just because I wear a kiddie chicken mask and talk in "baby speeak" all the time does not mean that they can assume I'm a child

My 30-year old brother is still called Benjy by our mother and others even though he goes by Ben at work.
