Jackie in "Hillary and Jackie"... a wonderful but disturbing film about cellist Jacqueline Du Pre. Recommended for those who love arts, humanities, and the human soul.

I have written novels. Some include me. No other character in a novel could be more like me than me. Perhaps I should think about which ones would place second. Aha, I'm a 285 pound powerlifter-martial artist and I love Japanese culture, so Dolph Lundgren in the movie "Showdown In Little Tokyo" is much like me. He has a Japanese lover played by Tia Carerre, and my lover is a real Japanese, not a Hawaiian-Filipina playing the role of a Japanese girl. He lives in a Japanese-style house, and I have lived in San Francisco's Japantown. Dolph is smaller than I am, but he is pretty big and muscular.

I'm pretty much a cross between what would be the female version of Holden Caulfield (Salinger, Catcher in the Rye) and Edna Pontellier, (Chopin, The Awakening)
With a little bit of Lara Croft Tomb Raider thrown in.

I can tell you who I'm not like. I'm not like Tom Hanks in Castaway. I would never befriend a volleyball, and I would never knock out my tooth using an ice skate. Although I like Hanks, and people tell me I have a passing resemblance to him...I would not do those things.
