I feel the same way, and was never keen to play with dolls when I was a child. I thought that the eyes were following me everywhere and the thought still gives me the willies.
I remember years ago watching a film with Donald Suntherland in. It took place in Amsterdam and was about puppets, dolls and whurlitzers. The dolls were used to hide drugs in. I found it very disturbing to watch but it made for complusive viewing so I had to watch it all the way to the end. Nuts or what!

Totally freaked!!!!
I had to go to a dolls hospital once, was like the worst scary movie set ever!!

yes me too.I don't even know why,they just remind me of some sort of evil.Couldn't sleep in a room with one,I'd think it was going to kill me in night,then in the morning it would be sitting on the shelf,innocently,with a smiley face,and them porcelain dolls,with pure faces concealing murderous thoughts.Im going to have nightmares tonight!

yes! they totally freak me out, and once I had to sleep in ma cousins room and she had clown dolls everywhere and i could'nt sleep for hours... what is funny about clowns? i always think, if it was funny, clowns wouldn't be doing it...

its probley cos you can't see they're faces..there hidden behind a mask or make-up,you can't see who they really are. but i agree,some clowns are a little scary. when i was a kid, i was freaked out buy Spanish dolls...you know,those ladies in frilly flamenco dresses...those eyes..yuck. a real shiver-down-spine moment there.

Iv'e always been scared of clowns, something sinister about them, and even more so after watching Stephen King's 'IT'!

They freak me out too and I am old enough to be your mother probably. The problem is I never have figured out what it is about them that bother me so much. If you would like to spend time talking to me about this you are welcome to e-mail me. I would like to know what bothers you about them too. Maybe together we both could understand our fears or freaky feelings and over come this.
