Did someone just mention David Ortiz and Cooperstown in the same sentence? We're talking about the same guy here, right - 30 years old and not even at 1,000 hits for his career?
Unless he's planning to string together seasons like this one until he's 40 years old, the only reason he'll have for being at Cooperstown is to watch induction ceremonies for Manny or ARod.
I'm not a fan of the Sox or Yankees, but come on - let's not exaggerate what a guy like Ortiz (994 hits, 214 homers) has done in his career compared to a guy like ARod (2,000 hits and 450 homers at the same age) or Jeter.

Big Poppi is the father of 5 beautiful children and a loving wife. He won a Series ring in Boston and is probably headed to Cooperstown eventually. Do I think he was pissed? Of Course he was. He is a geat hitter playing for the Best team in the league. ps. the Yankees suck

OK Fabio, Now that I'm back lets get this Big Papi thing straightned out.No he is not being traded for pitching for one, and David Ortiz is one of the most humble men in baseball, he is a team player, and a nice guy.Stop stirring the pot!!!!Hell No I do not think he beat the crap out of Mark in the locker room, Ortiz is solid he carries that team he knows where he stands.Besides if you look at video of Lorettas hit afterwards when the team mobs him Ortiz is right their hugging and slapping him a high five.Your such a moron, he did not.Does A-ROD beat the **** out of Jeter whenever Derek gets a hit and A-Rod does not???

Yeah, Big Papi was crying so hard he said he will never play for the Sox again. In fact, he said he wants to be traded to the Yankees where players don't get a lot of walk-off homeruns.

Actually its good he didnt get that hit, we need him to save up on the tank and get those hots when the Yankees are in town, imagine Riveria giving up a three run walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth...pleasure has its ways.
