Robert Newman (Josh, Guiding Light) used to post on this board I went to a lot. He proved it was himself by using a phrase on the show that we'd asked him to. Unfortunately, the word got out and people started coming and taking over the board asking questions directed at him rather than the show. He couldn't take it anymore and stopped coming to there and the chat room. I'd ask this person to do a similar thing. To say something in his next interview that proves it's really him.

No, not to my knowledge, but then again with so many ways to hide your real name, for all I know you are a famous celeberty. There was a rumor going around that Hellary Duff was playing card on Yahoo as just a normal person, but how can you tell if you cannot get there true I.D. off the net.

I met Brent Spiner online. He's the man who played "Data" on the show Star Trek: The Next Generation. I can prove it's him because he's got a space on myspace with his picture and info on it. I actually found him making a comment about a Data themed video on youtube.com

Does that question that Bono (from U2) asked count as meeting someone famous online? If not, then no.
