IF you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer look in the top left side and you will see the word "View." Left click on it. You will then see the word "Toolbars." Hover over it and a drop down menu will appear. Then you will see several words one being "Address Bar." Left click on it so it will have a check mark beside it. Then go to the bottom of the menu and click "Lock Toolbars." Then hit the F5 button on your keyboard and the address bar should show up.

If you have the menu bar at the top, click on View, Toolbars and then click on the Address Bar option. If you do not have the menu bar there, try right clicking on an empty gray space at the top of IE and click on Address bar.

Firstly its called internet explorer, secondly if you right click on your desktop and click create shortcut then browse for the IE exe file in your windows folder. and its pretty easy to figure out how to do the rest. and also before you do that. chec your recycle bin to make sure you haven't accidently deleted it by accident.

Possibly you have a virus - it can change all your settings in a flash. Sounds like a case for some hands on treatment. Don't think it can be solved any other way.
Where do you live?

At the top of the screen you will see FILE EDIT VIEW FAVORITES TOOLS HELP.
Under the VIEW menu are the controls for what you want to do. (Probably VIEW/Toolbars/Address but you can experiment)
