Thoughts from an Self-Proclaimed Overpaid Brat.

My titles rock. Rude, but I'm tired of people on here posting comments like "Money doesn't make you happy," or "How can you be rich and poor at the same time."
I may be a hypocrite, because I am not the most enlightened person on the earth. I am ignorant to many things.

Money does make you happy whether or not you want to admit it.

Question. If you found $100 on the ground would you get depressed?

And here's another thing not all people with money are snobs.

I am a walking contradictory.

I am rude.

I am vain.

I am elitist.

I'm so bored.

So young.

Blah.

Famous.

Yeah, Yeah.

I have friends.
They make me happy and I have family.
They also make me happy.
I have everything any other regular person would have.
Just with added bonuses.

So don't try to say I'm sad and lonely, I'm just up late and bored.

Not all poor people are ignorant. I have a daughter who is a PhD candidate and she makes probably $12K a year (a stipend from the school plus some living expenses, not allowed to hold outside jobs while in the program).

If you're bored, that's your hell. Money doesn't buy happiness, your statement about being bored proves that. Money sure as heck helps, but it sounds like you haven't found a way to be happy with all of that money.

If I found $100 on the ground, it wouldn't depress me. I'd probably use it for something unexpected like helping someone or buying lunch or dinner with a few friends--in other words, I'd share the good luck.

Rude and elitist people are often lonely and alone.

Obviously I'd be happy to find $100, but money is easily spend. Money can buy you lots of things, but the things that make me truly happy aren't available in the shops. Real love, happy children, good health, true friendship, a close family ... priceless.

You are all the things that you listed because money has lost its zeal. Try Jesus. He will give your life purpose and you can do something constructive with all that money you have like educate the poor who you think are so ignorant..

Get this Fool Moe Dee, money can make you happy. It is not necessarily true that it does. It seems by your fascination that money owns you. I have it and it doesn't own me.
