Biblical tradition is that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was 13-15 when she gave birth, so she may have had sex (real or divine impregnation) at age 12.

How do you argue against that?

Others factors must considered in addition to age when it comes to sex. We are living during an era where sex could actually kill you. Before being intimate with a person you must find out his or her HIV status and not just take their word. A responsible couple would take HIV tests and share the results after leaving the clinic even if this isn't going to be a long-term relationship.
Condoms wont guarantee that you wont get pregnant or contract an STD.
If you decide to be in a long term or committed relationship with this individual, you should inquire about his or her family history.
If you are a teenager or a college student you don't need any interferences.
There are many cases of young people having children accidentally. Some people have missed out on good jobs an careers simply because they had children and had to tend to put their lives on hold.
Children need to have a strong united support group.
While many woman are very independent, I think it is unfair to a child to be limited as far as resources or support goes.

the perfect age is when the person finds someone they truly love and have feelings for...and i do not mean just attracted to them either...but girls now a days are doing things like that and the guy does not really love them at all....i was told that this guy loved me and i believed him but when he came down to the fact that i was pregnant the whole story came out...and all the time i thought he was in the army he was back with his wife in another town...so do not be in such a hurry to believe that the guy really loves you...guys will say anything..i have raised all sons and i know this now for sure....

Ask your mother that question, I am sure that she will have the perfect answer for you.

You obviously are way to young with the response that you gave back to me so just keep your ding-a-ling in your pants until you can afford to pay for child supportm and no you can't afford child support by cleaning out your parents garage or working at your future job at Mc Donalds.

How old are you? Because I'm pretty sure the answer for you is NOT YET!!! If you even ask a question like that seriously, you aren't ready. Just keep these things in mind: Babies, diseases, heartache.... Are you ready to handle all of those yet? Because they can all happen with sex. Yes, even with "protection"....
