First and foremost, open a checking and/or savings account in your OWN name. If you don't work outside the home, get a job and start depositing your paycheck into your account. You may also want to close the joint charge cards. If one spouse is making bad finacial choices, both will be penalized. Protect yourself.

Get a JOB....make your own $$$$ don't co-mingle $$$$ Have an account in your own name.....

Do not co-sign anything with your spouse unless you want to be held financially responsible for it.

Your husband is a conrol freak....but you're enabling him to have control...GET a backbone....Tell him if he continues your financially ruin....you'll be leaving him!!

Stick to your guns!!! Be independant.....and get out of your codependency RUT!
