By reincarnation,one important teaching missing in the western culture,one takes birth in a definite place instead of another,so these people living now in Lebanon,whether young or old,have to be there,due to karma,or reaction to past lives.As you know there has always been quarrels in this part of the world,and now they have to pay for these past actions,so as to balance their karmic debts.

I work in Greece at the Red Cross so I can assure you that innocent people are dying in Lebanon, as in any war. But you must understand that in wars there are always two sides that are engaged so innocent die from Israel bombings and innocent die from Hesbolah attacks with rockets.
But always in every war, innocent people die, despite the fact that the International Humanitarian Law strictly prohibits attacks on civillians. War is war, and you must remember that during a conflict humanitarian law is not always the first matter in attention. I have to say though that this war has overpassed the qruelty of previous conflicts, excactly because both sides are using civllians to gain their goals. But this always happens in all wars.

There are always innocent people killed in war. Innocent people are dying on both sides. However, many innocent people were dying in Lebanon AND in Israel BEFORE the recent fighting began.
