I'm predominantly left handed but I also use my right hand to write. No, I don't feel superior because of it because most people find it weird that i can write with both hands.

I'm ambidextrous and feel proud of it. It has many advantages but some (few) disadvantages too you know! I don't know how many ambidextrous are reading this (and I hope to hear from them) but as for me, it's sometimes a dilemma when I have to write (wait a minute, which hand do I use?) or use PCs (is the mouse on the right or on the left?) or to sign etc. I sometimes feel that it's in fact ME who is creating the dilemmas as I always try to use both hands equally in life - which is not possible (except in basketball!)... Anyway, I don't think you can really "show off" when you are different because being left-handed or ambidextrous doesn't mean tht you are "different" as such! People get used to it quickly. They don't find you superior or whatsoever. The only person who might see me as superior may be... myself, lol. No just kidding; personally you can't find yourself "really" superior if you are anything but right-handed....

Dear Friend,
I am a left hander but neither feel superior or inferior. The difference comes when I have to learn something which generally I get to learn from a right hander and have to think and see how I have to do it as directions change when you do something with your right hand or left hand.
Further, when I tried to write 'S' with my right hand once, very ignorantly I made a mirror image of 'S' and that time only I realised that I have to give it a second thought when I do something with my right hand.
Furthermore, as per my knowledge about 20-21% people of the world are left handers so its 'ok sort of' (even though the %age is not 50) to say that they are not Exceptions. If the number were to be between 5-7% then I could have said that they are different. So there is no reason to call them different or superior.
Infact, in ancient times (history of 1600 century) lefty (left handers) were called sinisters (do check the meaning of sinister) and you will be surprised that sinister means evil. And do check the dictionary meaning of Dexter - right, dexterous is a word which means skillful, surprise dexterous 'right handed' is skillful. So, how can a lefty be feeling himself superior. Do you still feel that lefty are superior?
Lastly, as per my understanding everyone in this world has his own speciality so someone is superior to other in one field and other will be better in any other so superiority is not an issue of being lefty or righty. so I would suggest do not get into the fight of superiority.

What does the dominant hand have to do with feeling superior??? So what if you're a left or right handed guy? You're already lucky to be able to write!!!

Why would you feel superior if you're left-handed?? It's not like left handers have a great advantage over right-handers, besides, if you have an advantage in one area, you probably have a DISadvantage in another. Envy the ones who are ambidextrous! Lol

just s/t cool- "albuff" what u said is true- it says in the tora that g-d reaches out with his left hand and punishes/pushes away with his right. thats why the rite hand is considered dominant, but not necessarily better. btw- im left handed and i think its special, but not superior.

I am left handed and I am 50.2% sure I'm quite superior :), when it comes to inteligence matter, I use my left hand while it comes to sport or physical, I use my right hand. Most right handed can't do that.

God is left handed. I know this because the painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel shows him reaching out with his left hand.
