Ummm.... gay couples don't get any of the benefits married couples get which is one of the reasons they're pushing to make gay marriage legal.

First you should to some checking on this each state has different laws. Also you can buy medical coverage even if your not married. Cost might be more but you can. As far as companies offering medical benefits to anyone it is up to them, they don't have to give anyone medical coverage unless state laws states they have to.

You don't have to get a divorce if you break up you can separate if you wish. Life partners cant just walk away as you state if they were paying and buying things together then they both have the right to go to court to settle jointly purchased or owned items.

No one in any type of living together for a period of time can walk away with no risk.

You should do some better research on this or if your the person shafted you might be better off to see a good lawyer.

Most (not all) insurance companies state you have to be married for your partner to receive benefits. I think this is b.s. because although I am heterosexual I have no desire to remarry. I have been with the same man for almost 7yrs and live in the same house. We have a child together and I can not receive any benefits because I don't have a ring and a piece of paper. I think that is one reason why homosexuals are pushing for gay marriage to be legalized so that they can receive the benefits of married couples.

You need to talk to the people who make the laws not us. We can't change anything. The law restricts them from getting married in certain states. I agree, it is wrong! They should be treated just like any straight couple, but they aren't that lucky and believe me they want it to be the same as the straight couples. Why should they be singled out???

Gay marriage is illegal and immoral. If a person wants all those benefits there is a simple solution....it is called getting a job and working for them.....DUH!

I am a christian, gays were cursed from the bible times, and are still cursed today, why should they receive marriage blessings when they are cursed.
No way they should face the cursed life of being gay and so i think they deserve wat ever curse is there for them, i think the should be killed on top all those curses.
