The equation is also :
Y = (x+4) {x+2+x-5}
So
Y = (x+4) (2x-3) = 2x² +5x -12
So the roots are for y= 0
that are
x=-4 or
x= 3/2 = 1,5

The graph is a Parabole that cross y axis at x=-4 and x= 1.5. And the bottom of the parabole is situated where the derivative is equal to 0 The derivative is 4x+5, so it equal to 0 at x=-5/4

So this a parabole whith a minimum at x=-5/4 and that cross y axis at x=-4 and x=3/2

Replace x with integers like 0, 1, 2, etc. and you will get the corresponding value of Y. This way you will be able to sketch the graph.

The above eqn can be modified as
Y=4x+5
4x-y+5=0
Slope is 4
& Y intercept is 5
Sketch the graph

To graph that equation, you may ought to first locate the values of the coordinates. So x may be one. One plus 3 equals to 4, and that 4 is the y-coordinate. then you go over to the graph. go ver horizontally one unit, and then go vertically 4 gadgets. proceed on and advance the line so a techniques as you are able to. by ability of how, you need to connect the criteria with a straightedge.

Simplify the equation and remove the brackets,
make y=0 and compute to find x-intercept,
make x=0 and compute y to find y-intercept (or take the constant)
take coeficient of x squared as slope of the line tangent to the graph,
make a table of x and y for different variables and point the coordinates on the graph.

there are many methods of doing this but the easiest is to bring the equation into the form y=a((x-h)^2)+k
then a is the depression from the focus, and (h,k) is the turning point
for a more accurate graph substitute a few balues for x
a, h and k are constants

solve the equation first. (x+4).(x+2) -> x2+6x+8 etc.
You come up with a quadratic equation, easy to sketch.
