After having nothing but high end Nokia mobiles for the last 7 years, I was hesitant in changing to another mobile "brand". I bit the bullet and got a Samsung D600 and it is by far the best phone I have ever had. After changing the Transflash memory card to 1 Gb and having a spare 1 Gb Transflash with more playlists, it even rendered my iPod redundant. Via eBay I purchased an adaptor cable to allow the Samsung D600 to use standard iPod type headsets.
The phone is very easy to use and has very high functionality.

Nokia's interface is generally easier and more intuitive.

It's debatable which make the better phones though.
