Zener diode allow Currents from Only one side.......n block from another side...................n dats wy its used in DC circuit.

It is used to Convert AC into DC.

actually the zener diode allows current to pass from 1 side and allows it to pass from the other according to a certain threshold in vlotage.. i dont know about AC cuz i only studied electronics in DC
