Maybe our generation is not yet in danger, but we have to think about our children. It's not fashionable to expose to sun and get brown skin, because it is dangerous. i think world will realize one day the danger, but than it will be too late. What can we do about it? Nothing much, because big nations like USA don't want to do anything about that. And we can not expect from nations who develops to be rational and do something to prevent global warming because they have "right" to develop like we in the west.

P.s. People should take environmental studies in school (like we in my country in Europe have) to learn more about global warming, so they would not blindly believe what politicians and economist say. They have only money interests.

The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 billion years. This all happened before any of the modern tech came into being, and will continue to happen after we are gone.

The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.

These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.

First, we need to define the problem or whether it is a problem. In the past, the world has undergone many changes and this could be a normal event. Nature tends to keep populations under control which might explain global warming but also othe changes in our society...i.e. the increase in homosexuality. On a remote island near Brazil is a population of snakes where 50% are of neutral gender...if the snakes breed unchecked, they would use up the food supply (birds) and the species of snake become extinct. Unfortunately, the news media tends to enlarge on anything and causes fear without shedding truth.Gore and others are using the environment as an issue to be elected but we have to be suspicious as scientists tend to say and 'prove' whatever is is politically correct. In Australia, scientists have suggested that stomach gas from cows is responsible for atmospheric pollution?????? Demand proof...and don't accept these theories as proof

I am convinced that global warming is real but I am convinced that we could spend the time and effort and money on things that have a lot less worth. If for no other reason than we have to breath this stuff. Not to mention peoples love affair with their cars has to change. It's easier to say there is no such thing as global warming than it is to take a bus or carpool.

no I am not convinced that we are causing global warming and even those who believe that we do think that even if every one in the world stopped driving we would still be warming.

Could this have anything to do with the fact that the sun is warming or that their is global warming on mars too, of course not that would ruin the anti capitalist ideal of the environmentalists.

Whilst the full effects may not be in our lifetime we surely need to address the issue now.
Weather patterns throughout of the world are changing and oceans are rising.
