The matrix? First of all, i think that movie is overated and over played all over the place. The first one was good at first, but the ones that came after that, they were all crap...first one was alright, but never got hooked into it...it's just not what i'm into, i do agree, THE MATRIX SERIES IS CRAP, lol.

the movie is based on hindu and buddhist scriptures.....
at the end of the 3rd movie....u hear a sloka from the vedas...
